Find Your Perfect Poster Size
We offer three sizes designed to fit any space — from a small office to a statement wall in your garage. Use this guide to pick the right one before you order, or send us your wall photo via chat if you want a recommendation.
The three sizes
Which one fits your wall?
All sizes available in Framed (ready to hang with hardware) or Unframed (rolled in a protective tube).
30 × 40 cm
≈ 12 × 16 inches
The starter size. Perfect above a desk, in a hallway, or as part of a poster wall. Reads well from 1–2 meters.
Best for: office, study, narrow walls.
40 × 50 cm
≈ 16 × 20 inches · Most popular
The sweet spot. Big enough to make an impact, small enough to fit most rooms. Above a sofa, bed, or workbench. Reads well from 1.5–3 meters.
Best for: living room, bedroom, mancave.
50 × 70 cm
≈ 20 × 28 inches · Statement size
The hero piece. Centerpiece on a large wall, garage feature, or above a long sofa. Reads well from 2–5 meters.
Best for: garage, large living room, showroom.
Room-by-room
Where will it hang?
Quick rule of thumb: the larger the wall, the bigger the poster. Aim for the artwork to fill ~50–66% of the empty wall space.
Office / Study
Above your desk or to the side. Reads well at close range. Pick 30×40 cm (or 40×50 cm for a wider wall).
Living room / Bedroom
Above a sofa or bed. Most-viewed wall in your home. 40×50 cm is the safe bet; go 50×70 if the wall is wide and bare.
Garage / Mancave
Where the cars actually live. Go big or go home — 50×70 cm is the statement. Or hang 2–3 smaller posters together for a wall set.
How do I know which size fits my wall?
Measure the empty wall space. The poster should fill 50–66% of the width. For example, on a 1m wide empty wall, a 40×50 cm or 50×70 cm poster looks right. On a narrower 60cm wall, 30×40 cm fits better.

How high should I hang it?
The center of the poster should be at eye level — that is roughly 145–155 cm from the floor for most people. Above a sofa or bed, leave ~20–30 cm between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
Should I get multiple posters as a set?
Absolutely — and you save 15% on 2 posters or 25% on 3+ (automatically at checkout).
Popular layouts: 2× 40×50 side by side, 3× 30×40 in a row, or one 50×70 centerpiece with smaller posters around it.
Framed or Unframed — which should I pick?
Framed ships ready to hang: premium MDF frame, shatterproof plexiglass, hanging hardware included. No extra trip to the framing shop.
Unframed ships rolled in a protective tube. Cheaper, lets you pick a frame style locally that matches your interior. Standard sizes — fits any IKEA/Posterstore/Desenio frame.
Are these standard frame sizes?
Yes — 30×40 cm, 40×50 cm, and 50×70 cm are all standard European frame sizes. If you choose Unframed and want to frame locally later, any standard frame in that size will fit.
